ABOUT KERRY

Kerry Dene-Ihlenfeldt is a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber with over 15 years of experience across the NHS, occupational health, functional medicine, and longevity healthcare.

Her clinical career began as a student nurse, undertaking extensive placements across Orthopaedics, Stroke Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Gynaecology, Intensive Care, and Respiratory Medicine before qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Nursing. She later qualified as an Independent Prescriber, further expanding her ability to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Today, Kerry combines conventional medical practice with a progressive, evidence-informed approach to functional and longevity medicine. She is passionate about identifying and addressing the underlying drivers of dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms, helping individuals optimise health, performance, and long-term wellbeing.

As Clinical Director and Partner at IVBOOST UK, Kerry leads the clinical vision of the organisation, ensuring the highest standards of safety, governance, and personalised care. Her work focuses on prevention, health optimisation, regenerative medicine, and longevity, integrating advanced diagnostics and evidence-based therapies to support patients in achieving better health outcomes and extending healthspan.

Kerry’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that “normal doesn’t always mean optimal.” She is dedicated to helping individuals move beyond disease prevention and towards optimal function, resilience, and vitality.

Committed to clinical excellence, Kerry actively pursues ongoing professional development and regularly attends leading national and international conferences in functional medicine, longevity science, regenerative therapies, and preventative healthcare. She is recognised for translating complex medical and scientific concepts into practical, personalised strategies that empower patients to take control of their health and age well.
